BigPanda Hires Michael Canon as VP of Worldwide Sales

Former New Relic and WebEx Sales Exec to Bring Leadership to Growing Team.

Mountain View, Calif., May 12, 2015 – BigPanda®, the data science platform for automating IT event correlation and incident response to reduce system and network downtime, announced today that it has hired Michael Canon as Vice President of Worldwide Sales

BigPanda is a data science platform that automatically eliminates IT noise and prioritizes relevant alerts to help improve system performance and reliability. It notifies teams when critical incidents occur by clustering related alerts together and correlating them with infrastructure changes. This helps IT staff dramatically shorten the mean-time-to-recovery (MTTR) for their critical issues.

Canon is a graduate of San Jose State University in Finance, and has held roles at a number of Silicon Valley success stories including WebEx, Cisco, New Relic and Sauce Labs.
