Customer webinar: Change management for AIOps adoption
We recently hosted a customer webinar featuring two BigPanda experts to discuss best practices for organizational change management in AIOps adoption. Much of the conversation focused on overcoming this common challenge, including actionable steps for resolving communication bottlenecks and quickly demonstrating ROI.
Our team outlined strategies to support successful AIOps implementation, including:
- Get the right team members in the room for key decisions. AIOps adoption requires alignment between ITOps, observability tool owners, incident management, and senior IT leadership teams. Engage tool and incident management owners from the outset to set clear expectations and ensure the new processes align with their teams’ workflows.
- Choose a realistic adoption model for your organization. A full 95% of BigPanda customers report that they’ve achieved measurable benefits quickly by implementing two or three pilot teams. These projects help build social proof within the organization and pave the way for scalable adoption.
- Align on the goals. Identifying common pain points — such as the broad impact of downtime on service reliability — helps stakeholders set a shared goal to minimize the frequency and duration of major incidents to enhance customer experiences.
- Leverage data-driven feedback to maximize your investment. Use BigPanda Unified Analytics to monitor KPIs continuously, aggregate insights, and demonstrate ROI while delivering operational visibility and articulating IT productivity through focused dashboards.
“Every organization needs a quick win in the early adoption stages,” shared Evan Freedman. “Most underestimate how long it takes to enable teams and overestimate their capacity to manage multiple teams. Choose two to three internal teams, make them highly successful, and leverage them to create social proof their peers can trust.”
