BigPanda announces funding & great new features!
Last week was an exciting week. BigPanda announced $7 Million in funding from Sequoia Capital and Mayfield. We are super excited that these two firms share our vision for changing the way that IT and DevOps teams manage and respond to the thousands of IT issues they face every day. Last week, we also launched our offering into general availability. Check out some of the highlights from last week’s coverage on BigPanda from TechCrunch, GigaOm, Computerworld, 451 Research and more.
New features: metrics, runbooks, notes and more
Now you can drill down deeper into incidents than ever before. With BigPanda, you get the comprehensive information that you need to make better decisions, faster. Get one-click access to metrics, runbooks, persistent notes, historical alerts and more. BigPanda also gives you an activity log which is automatically updated in real time so it’s easy to see who’s working on what.
The number of integrations has doubled!
Whether you rely on Nagios, Zabbix or New Relic – BigPanda intelligently groups all of your alerts into one simplified incident feed. There is out-of-the-box support for a wide range of monitoring services and a fully developed REST API for integrating with your proprietary monitoring tools.
And it’s just as easy to push your deployment and configuration changes to BigPanda. We support Chef and Puppet through our API. Easy-to-use language wrappers let you connect Ruby, Python and shell. And if you’re using Jenkins, Capistrano or Ansible, you’ll find out-of-the-box integrations for all of them.
